In an attempt to integrate some important spiritual concepts in the book without getting labeled and being biased to a certain religion, I have chosen to go back to the time when in recorded history the Divine Source received its first name. It was in the time of the ancient Canaan, later known as Persia, that the Mother Goddess was given the name "Anahita." It is not my intention to propagate a new following of Anahita, but rather to go back to the original point of the birth of religion in order to be as inclusive as possible of all people and their chosen beliefs.

Anahita’s titles included: Immaculate One, Great Goddess, Great Lady, The Golden Mother, Immaculate Virgin Mother of the Lord of Mithras, Heavenly Spring, Mother of the Gods, Mistress of the Sky and Benefactor of Humanity.

She embodied life, semen, water, war and human fertility. She was depicted both as the life-giving Mother of All and the Warrior Maiden.

From Babylon her worship spread and evolved throughout the great cultures of the world where she is known as Isis, Ishtar, Kali, Athena, Minerva, Freyja and Mary, the Virgin Mother. At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter how we name and depict the Divine since there is only One. What is important is that we each find our way to connect with the Universal Source and allow ourselves to rise to our full potential.
